The Site’s Limited Role

Lee County Released Inmates is a private reference resource with no government authority. It stores no official jail, court, or corrections records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, change a case, or file a document.

Its pages point readers toward Lee County Jail, FullCourt, VINELink, IDOC, federal resources, and third-party research tools. A link is a route to another source, not an endorsement or official determination.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Follow all applicable laws while using the site.
• Do not stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person.
• Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not seek access to systems or data without authorization.
• Do not run automated bots, scrapers, or extraction tools.
• Do not interfere with the site or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Lee County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Employment hiring, discipline, or termination
• Tenant selection or other housing screening
• Creditworthiness or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Outside Websites and Services

Links may lead to Sheriff or corrections pages, release records, government portals, legal-aid information, and outside search services. We do not control or endorse their content, data practices, pricing, availability, or operation. Review the destination’s current terms and privacy policy before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties about:

• Accuracy, completeness, or currentness
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Freedom from errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• The completeness of a partner’s search results

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Lee County Sheriff, IDOC, a court, or another public agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lee County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Lee County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. You may not copy, distribute, publish, or modify those materials without prior written permission, except where law expressly allows otherwise.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Updated terms take effect when they are posted on this page, and continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised version.

Suspension or Loss of Access

We may limit, suspend, or block access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Illinois Law Applies

Illinois law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within Illinois.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the minimum extent required to make it enforceable.
